Giving you our honest opinion 0.5ml will show no difference at all. Many patients come to us, asking for only 0.5ml because they “only want a very natural result”. In fact, a whole syringe of dermal filler usually contains just 1ml – the same size as those teeny tiny perfume samples you get for free! So if you’re thinking of having 1ml of filler split across the entire face, you might as well save your money. I am always the first one to tell people to take things slowly when it comes to getting filler, but it’s still worth putting things into perspective when targeting more than one area. If you’re just getting started with filler 1ml in one area might actually be too much. If you’ve been gradually building your filler for years and want to address multiple areas, 1ml might be too little. It totally depends on the individual.
