I’ve done a similar post on this about why you can’t compare how much filler you need with your friends. This time, I wanted to address that 1 treatment might not be “enough”, if you’re going from the “old” Kylie’s lip, to the “new” Kylie’s lip. . Everyone knows that I only inject to give natural-looking results, but what if you have extremely small/ thin lips to begin with, and after 1 treatment, they aren’t too much bigger? This is when filler needs to be added over a period of time. . Adding filler before the initial filler metabolises, is what will slowly build the lips. Everyone is different and some people might not be able to fit another whole ml 5-6weeks after the initial ml, whilst others might be able to. This means you might have to wait longer to get your second ml. Some patients that I have injected 3-4 times has been done over the course of 2 years. . I know everyone wants results with just 1 treatment in one sitting, but realistic expectations and patience is key! Let’s talk a little bit about asymmetry. ⚖️ Let’s talk a little bit about asymmetry. ⚖️ First of all, it’s a common misconception that a symmetrical face is the most beautiful (but we all know from my previous post that this is just NOT true). 💀 But I understand that asymmetrical features are a common insecurity. It’s important to understand that, even though fillers may be able to mask the natural shape and structure of your face in the short term, they are not a long-term solution. So many things are at play here, from lip pigment and muscles, to your natural lip shape. This is why fillers aren’t always the answer you’re looking for (and you will need to invest in a hell of a lot of juvederm to keep the asymmetry at bay). My advice? Embrace the beauty of your asymmetry. Because quite honestly, you’re the only one who notices it. 😉
